This mount fits essentially all 32-65" TVs sold today including any TV with a hole pattern from 100x100 to 700x400mm. The initial design which extended 3.5" from the wall has been reduced to 1.3" while still achieving 15 degrees of tilt to improve your viewing angle and reduce glare. US homes typically have either 16" or 24" studs. The APTMM2B is 27" wide allowing for up to 3" of side-to side adjustment even on 24" studs. Because of this, you may be able to see the APTMM2B mount behind smaller TVs and you may instead want to consider the Cheetah APTMSB for smaller TVs. When wall mounting a TV, often the 6' cables that come with many component devices such as DVD players, will not quite reach. So we include a full 10' HDMI cable adhering to the latest 1.4 HDMI standard and capable of carrying a 1080P 3D signal including Ethernet and Audio Return. This mount also ships with a full set of hardware to both mount your TV to the wall (either wood stud or cement) and to your TV (including 4, 5, 6 and 8mm screw sets). This is a very substantial mount with Dual arms and heavy gauge steel. The arms extend over 20" from the wall yet fold to less than 4.25". Even at full extension, this mount has very little sag or twist.
It is rated for up to 165lbs and most displays 65" and smaller weigh under 100lbs.
The unit has dual tilt adjustment knobs and it will tilt forward or back 15 degrees. The wall plate is 27.5" wide and has wide slots making it easy to mount into standard 16" studs even if they are not exactly 16" apart.
The universal design will fit any display with a hole pattern up to 28.25" wide and 18.75" tall. The wall plate is 1/8" thick and very stable and includes large center hole for cable pass-though into the wall.
